The name of my practice is Compass Mental Health. The focus and guiding principle is respectful, strength based support and education to promote healing, healthy living and pursuit of personal goals. To that end, an electric approach utilizing CBT, Relational Counseling, Play Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and ARC Model principles are used to assist clients in learning to chart their own course using their own compass as a guide to peaceful living, personal success and happiness. Other Modalities/Therapeutic tools I used include: Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Gestalt, Art and Phase Oriented Trauma Therapy. Other Disorders I treat are: Anxiety, PTSD, Major Depression, ADHD, Asperger’s, Mood Disorder, Grief and Loss/Bereavement, Relationship Issues, Parenting, Developmental Disabilities/Autism and Physical/Sexual Abuse and Neglect.
