I have been trained with the skills of a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I am experienced in assessment, diagnosis, and with a variety of therapeutic techniques and philosophies to support client-centered treatment. I have experience working with adolescents and families, individual adults, veterans, probationers, immigrants, LGBT/Q and BIPOC communities, as well as other therapists. I can provide Level of Care Vineland III and other mental health assessments.
I believe that counseling is a process that facilitates growth and development through empowering individuals to identify their own needs, strengths, and resiliencies. As a facilitator of this process, I can provide guidance and direction through exploration that is respectful, empathetic, compassionate, genuine, and accepting. Modalities for treatment will be based upon the needs of the individual. At the end of the first session, clients will have a clear understanding of informed consent, client rights and responsibilities, and other information pertaining to agency policies.
