I use an eclectic mix of humanistic, person-centered therapy along with attachment theory and CBT & DBT in my work with my clients. I believe emotions motivate us towards action, therefore they act as the agent of change in therapy. Together we will identify patterns of behavior that are no longer serving their purpose in your life and replace them with healthier patterns. Through nonjudgmental curiosity, we will explore your life experiences that have influenced your worldview, and we will work to lovingly reorient you to the present moment, in order to let go of old patterns. If emotions motivate us towards change, then as a therapist I work to cultivate an environment of safety so my clients can take risks and bravely explore their internal and external world.
