Kayla Paris, LCPC

My approach is rooted in the belief that, with safe and secure relationships, all individuals have the capacity for resiliency and recovery. Therapy can be understood as a process of integrating mind and body systems to ensure the whole person is online, functioning rather than feeling stuck. Understanding what is going on in someone else’s mind not only allows us to attend and respond to their needs but it builds connections. In recognizing and respecting a person’s inner-resources, I will help you to build on your self-knowledge and strengths, explore your motivation to change, and develop healthier ways of being.

At the core of my practice is a commitment to meet you where you are at and help you get where you want to be. I am trained to assess, diagnose, and treat substance use and mental health disorders. I use an eclectic mix of modalities to address unique needs and collaboratively help people maximize their agency and autonomy in cultivating lasting change.

Finding the courage it takes to be vulnerable and ask for help is an incredible strength. Your bold bravery is the first stepping stone to change. I encourage you to connect with me by phone or email to help determine if I will be the right “fit” for you.
