Taking the first step to find a therapist is no easy task. Just as no individual is the same, each therapist has their own personality and methods of treatment. First and foremost, my goal is to ensure that you feel safe, comfortable and secure within our working relationship. It is important you feel at ease communicating your expectations of your experience in therapy to ensure best fit. Together we will focus on creating a plan that works for you, your child, and/or your family.
 
I specialize in working with survivors of trauma, those feeling trapped in depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, sexuality, grief, chronic pain, family conflicts, co-parenting and more. Together we focus on restoring peace within one’s self and relationships through learning healthy new coping and effective communication skills.
 
I am trained in several evidence-based modalities of treatment: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, Child Parent Psychotherapy, Modular Approach to Therapy for Children with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma and Conduct Problems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and many other approaches to treatment. 
 

I primarily treat trauma, PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, some co-occurring.  I have experience in family work, child parent psychotherapy, reunifications, and veteran families

Modalities/Therapeutic Tools Used:  Strengths Based Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Family Systems, CBT, Tf-CBT, CPP and MATCH.
